Designed to develop quickly in all types of seabeds, they dig in straight and bury rapidly, typically within one meter, even in thick weed and kelp. Their design resists wind and current shifts and doesn't easily trip out upon load reversal, instead of tending to rotate in place. It provides greater security for cruisers and has the best relation anchor wight to anchor holding power, ideal for boats sensitive to the weight onboard the anchors.
Their self-launching design makes them work very well with the most popular anchor rollers without being guided into place and fits most bow rollers snugly enough to prevent movement while at sea. It is balanced to fall unaided from bow rollers, so it's ideal for use with remotely operated windlasses.
